AS I have five days until I become that age were you start lying about your age. I decided to become forever 28, maybe 29. Forever..... My inner singing dark diva have decided to come out of my dark cave of my house and start performing again. So I've taking parts in Poetry readings at the local cafe, nude modeling for artist, pay 12:fifty an hour, not bad for a part time job(granted anyone from Goddard would not be suprised.. No dancing in public though. MPD WOULD KICK MY ASS). Granted next week I'll be clothed for portrait. End of feb I will be part of a collective art show. So i will be doing myfirst performance pieace in like five years...Shit..
So a lot of stuff going on....

So in an attempt to be more social in Manchester. Me and julie have joined a artist collective this way. The funny part of the whole thing is that one of the people that happens to be a big player of the group is one of my old teachers from Goddard. He taught art class.. It weird how,it feels like I've been hiding out in this city in the hopes of never seeing a goddard student again(not for real) But in that sense like you would have to explain that you may still be nutty but not as crazy and out their as you use to be. I have not done a performance piece since my senior study and this teacher has seen some of my risky performances to say the least. So I laugh at myself about the strangness of it all. It seems like everyone smokes and probably run of for a joint or two during breaks at this group. They injoy the orderless order of the group which happens to be very goddard like.. IIIIIIII....We've made it to some meetings and have missed others due to the holidays. I'll keep folks updated on how things go and weather I find some creative outlet for my spazy energy......Thinking of you folks..

HAHAHHHAHA... I think its about three months and a week... The count down is going....wwwwwwwoooo... The big three and O....lol... I really need to find a life...Not really, just a job that pays more and I know is what I'm meant to do...Pros and cons of getting older..
1. Pro...I feel that I know more then I've ever have..That I know, that I don't know anything... So I get a good laugh out of ALL the teenagers, young adults, and damn even the older folks that think that they know what is going on.
2. Con..What are all these different lines showing up more on my face...Who the hell are you in the mirror....
3.pro and con...Some times I wake up and feel addhd young and full of energy...Others I feel like I've hit a mack truck...uuuuhhhhhh..
4.pro...I'm old enough to own property and a car... Mature enough to keep your job..
five. Con..Finding hair in weird places...Damn no one told me you became the wolfman the older you get...

Looking at my life online I realize it nuts.. Two personal email accounts..two business, if you can call being apart of aquarianpictures a business. It feels like hundreds of groups.... I dont even have the same addy for my Yahoo Im...Their fault not mine.. I have a little address book to keep most of it straight...haha.. But who cares...
Halloween.. Did way to much..You think getting made up three times and doing a mask another day is alittle to much..lol...For some reason I did not get that satisfied feeling this year...uuuhhhhh..To much candy....It takes weeks to get your energy back... Now for Xmas........aaaaaahahhhhhhhhhh.

Oh well...The trailer for Dead is not happening this fall.. Certain parts of the project fell through. So at this point I'm just going to keep working on the script and plan on pulling it together as a full lenth film for next fall... Fun, fun... Trying to figure out weather to go back to school...Need more skills..In what, not fully sure..lol..Well to start maybe working on fimmaking skills but damn I hate school.. Almost 30..I can't see myself dealing with all the bs that goes with being in school again... Masters' work would be two damn hard... Maybe a second ba, but Goddard probably bleed me dry money wise... Time to think hard about it...
Boston is starting to look good now... Julie has been wanting to go their. She wants to go to art school their..I just want to settle in one place for awhile... Oh well, life goes on....
Was in Monty, Vt This past weekend..eating at subway talking with Brian and an old friend from high school about my wild days at Goddard... Damn I'm settled and mellowed out a lot these days..Still nutty but not as crazy..lol..It's nice to have some of my sanity these days...
Dave...Sorry..I know you keep calling me baby. I'm just not their....Life is kinda of crazy... Bye folks

Lost in that void of everyday life. You feel like your going around in circles doing the same thing over and over again. But your atleast happy that your life is a bit more structured and not full of chaos.
Big deal in my life.. At 29..I finaly over came some of my fears of driving and went out for my driving lic last friday. I passed! Only one question wrong on the written and got a hundred on the driving test.. The weird part is I did all this practicing for different kinds of parking and the guy just had me go around a few blocks and that was it..Damn I did more trying to get my lic in VT back when I was a teenager then here in Manchester...Julie was more ecited about it then me.. I guess I'm just happy to be over that hump.. Now I get to work on driving alone on the highway..So its another hill that I get to work on climbing..But I altleast I over came some of my fears.. Some one give Julie a medal for putting up with my stressful ass all these years... Half of this goes to her any ways...Done with that damn drivers book..UUUHHH
Now I can try to finish the script for the Dead and plan are oct shooting spree in the woods of VT. Fourdays of camping and filming will be interesting to say the least.
I love the fall and I can't wait for Halloween...

lololololololololol....Once sept hits, i got 6months until I turn 30...wow...I loosely planned out my first 25yrs...You know when in High school, going by the time I'm 24 or 25 I'll be done with college. I think if any one had told me that by the time I was 29 I'd have alittle house and I do mean little, two boston terriers and a fiance.. I think I would of laughed at you. So I site here laughing at myself thinking 30..The old saying never trust anyone over thirty kicks in when I'm wat ork. i work with teenage boys in a short term shelter. Explaining to them why theirs value in listening to your adult..lol...Crazy world....

I'm alive...Working on piecing together my film crew for this fall's trailer shoot. Dead is the name of the film project and it is zombie flix that takes place in New Hampshire.. I'm trying to finish the script and think I have enough to pull off the trailer. Hoping to also finish the business plan soon for http://aquarianpictures.com so me and Michael can get that off the ground.. So things are getting busy....More later..

Ok folks...Thoughs who love indy films, horror and specialy Zombie flixs..I;m in the process of trying to finish up the script for Dead. http://aquarianpictures.com is in the process of starting pre-production on the trailer were doing this fall. Looking for help on many levels..First fans to support the work were doing and also I'm looking for actors and actresses in the New England area between the ages of 25-33 who are willing to work for free. It's going to be a lot of work in a short time period. I'll put up a list soon of what roles and people I'm looking for. But I'd love to network with actors and actresses in the area..More later

Cyborgs..What do you think when this word comes to mind.. Part human/part machin?..Thoughs big clanky things on star trak the next generation.
But what happens if were already a society of cyborgs. How many people can not live with out the computers, cellphones, ipods,organizers and video games. It is tech that has aloud us to form whole new relationships in this society. Through the internet we have blogs/journals, video blog, chats and social networks, email, open source and peer to peer sharing. This has lead to a more interactive and participatory process. Peeple are free to put up shit or some thing with meaning. You can get a bride from russia, a date nexr door, movies through the mail, collectables from india.. Connect with family and friends. Gather research from all over the world. This changes the way information and intelligence works. Online businesses like Amazon, google and ebay take people in and they become the company,Developers, vendors and fans (this line taken from a story in Wire magazine...Love it). Everything comes with a push of a button.. Interesting huh...Let me know what you folks think...lol

Becuase he has a full grasp of pop culture and grabs it by the throat and turns into creative progjects..Music, movies and poetry...I've seen this man hold up college room lotteries performing massive drama's that put day time TV soaps to shit. Thats why I think people should suck up to Dave....His stuff is like peanut butter mixed with hummus in your sandwich. It makes you think...If you go..Tell him I said Hi..lol

This is another old post from Bloggers but I thought some folks might like it..
It's alive............
So here I am 6 in the morning typing for this site..Got up two hrs before searching stuff on the web. I'm obsessed with this new stuff and yes I feel like I created a monster. New gmail account, meetup group and now bloging. I enter a site called blogrolling.com to help me with linking and I find myself spending way to much time trying to get an account up and running with them. This stuff takes on a life of it's own..lol..Enough bitching.
So monsters.....In line with my rant lets start with Frankenstein...This past fall I was able to buy the The Legacy Collection.. The Boris Karloff one Frankenstein, The Brid of Frankenstein (1935), Son of Frankenstein (1939), Ghost of Frankenstein (1942) and House of Frankenstein. Then a lot of cool behind the scenes stuff and files on Frankenstein. The movies are all pretty good classic films but some times their stuck in their place of time.
What I mean is the Mary Shelly story is very wild and still very relavent to todays world. Is it the story of Faust, the man who makes a pack with the devil for all known knowledge or could it be seen in the frame work of the rise of science in the presence of religion and its prejudice.
One other thought is the work of the occult. Now I don't have information right infront of me, so I'm not going to go in to detail. I would like to have my facts straight. Through my readings and research that the members of the artist community now and then have been effected by occult thinking. No this is not the ooohhh scary stuff run alway kinda of web blog..Go to any book stores and the occult part covers aspects of eastern religion,philosophy paranormal, esp and probably aliens..Things like Taoism and alchemistry you know.
Shelly leaves the creation (granted I need to read the book it self, I read books about the book,now does that make sense..lol) of the monster up in the air. Due to the elixer of life or somthing like that..Universal studio's in the first movie makes it look more like sound science with the machines and gadjets. The Brid of Frankenstein deals more with the occult aspect. Even though I think the little people part of the film was kinda of stupid (my own thought).
My attention span is waning..So more later..

H.G. Wells
So last night Thursday 6/30/05 I was at Barnes and Nobles looking around and I found this great magazine called Rue Morgue that deals with Horror in culture and entertaiment.
They had a nice write up about H.G. Wells. So I thought I'd do a fast version of what the story covered. The good, the bad and the ugly.
The good. The man was the forefather of SCI-FI/Horror genre. Stories he did.
The Time Machine (1895)

You might be able to find his shorts in a copy of Thirty Strang Stories:A Classic Collection of Fantastic and Mysterious Tales..Out of print but might be able to find it used.
The Bad....A socialist, feminist, social engineer and atheist. He did political writings too. I don't have a problem with the atheist part.
The ugly..He supported eugenics. That populations can and should be controled and some should be eliminated. That would be the weak and sensual. The perverse, degenerate, impure, unstable, handicapped, ignorant and so on. An d on the personal level he was considered selfish and difficult. Unfaithful to both wifes and abusive in general.
All info came from the story in Rue Magazine. The writer is Michael Coren and James Grainger. For more info keep an eye out for the reissueing of Michael Coren's 1993 biography The Invisible Man: The Life and Liberties of H.G. Wells.
My perosnal thoughts...You remember their being lots of stories/movies you seen growing up? But you did not know or care to know at that time who was behind those stories. Then years later you read a story like I did piecing it all together. The name H.G.Wells was one that just hung in the air but I did not know all the major works he was involved in. The stories I know are the War of the Worlds, Island of Doc Morue and the Invisible Man. All these stories have left marks on my mind. I think War of the Worlds helped to form my interest in end of the world films. The death of humanity either by our own hands, aliens or massive storms.
What is also interesting is his personal views and the effects of the Industrial Revolution and scientific Rationalism on his development as a writer. I' want to read more about him before I make any more comments. So Thats all for today folks. More later..
